Ich musste leider feststellen, dass der Atom-Feed von Serendipity fehlerhaft erstellt wird, wenn HTML-Entities im Beitrag vorkommen. Bei manchen Feed-Readern kann es nun leider vorkommen, dass der Feed dann gar nicht geladen wird und nur eine Fehlermeldung zurück kommt.
Ich habe daher den Atom-Feed wieder von der Seite entfernt und den Link zum RSS2.0 aktiviert, dieser wird korrekt erstellt.
Wer den Atom-Feed abonniert hat, möge doch bitte in seinem eigenen Interesse die Adresse auf den anderen Feed ändern, der Link ist auf der Seite rechts oben zu finden.
Tut mir Leid für die Umstände, aber ich wusste bis heute auch nicht von dem Problem
Ich habe jetzt mal das Plugin Markup: Mobile Ausgabe (serendipity_event_mobile_output) für Serendipity aktiviert. Besucher mit mobilem Browser (vorwiegend Mobiltelefon-Surfer) erhalten nun ein alternatives Design ohne viel Schnick-Schnack. Sieht zwar nicht so schön aus, da die meisten Formatierungen fehlen, aber lesen lässt es sich hoffentlich besser.
Wer per Telefon hier aufschlägt und Verbesserungsvorschläge oder Wünsche zum Design hat, kann sich ja melden. inwieweit ich die Sachen dann umsetzen kann, muss man im Einzelfall sehen.
Update: Ich habe das Plugin wieder deaktiviert, da es sich wohl mit dem bei mir eingebundenen chCounter nicht verträgt. Ich muss erst mal nach einer Lösung dafür suchen.
Update 2: Das Plugin läuft jetzt richtig. Man musste das Paket von der Homepage laden und installieren. Wenn man Spartacus verwendet, werden einige benötigte Dateien nicht installiert. Zumindest das Lesen sollte jetzt mit allen gängigen Browsern funktionieren. Nicht wundern, in den mobilen Designs gibt es keine Felder, um einen Kommentar zu schreiben
So, ich bin jetzt auch mal auf den neuesten Hype des flattr-ns aufgesprungen. Ob das was bringt, keine Ahnung. Ich bin etwas skeptisch, da man nicht bestimmen kann, welcher Beitrag der mir gefällt, wieviel Geld von meinem Budget bekommen soll.
Was für mich aber viel interessanter/wichtiger war: Die Integration in Serendipity. Es gibt bereits ein fertiges Plugin dafür in Spartakus, allerdings sind die Einstellungen dafür etwas beschränkt. Ich möchte nämlich nur in einem einzelnen Beitrag das Flattr-Icon haben, nicht in der Fußzeile und auch nicht auf der Hauptseite unter jedem Beitrag. Das verursacht nämlich nur unnötig lange Wartezeiten, wenn für jeden Beitrag extra das JavaScript inkl. Grafik geladen werden muss. Bei mir hat man da jedenfalls deutliche Verzögerungen beim Laden der Seite bemerkt.
Nach etwas probieren, habe ich nun eine Lösung gefunden.
Ich bin jetzt doch mal dazu gekommen, ein paar Kleinigkeiten an Serendipity anzupassen…
Der Abstand der Fußleiste zu jedem Beitrag hat jetzt etwas mehr Abstand zum Inhalt, dazu habe ich einfach im Hauptpfad die Datei user.css angelegt, und im Backend die Benutzerstylesheets aktiviert. Als Inhalt steht einfach .serendipity_entryFooter {margin-top: 1em;} in der Datei. Laut Hilfe sollte man die Datei zwar angeblich unter „templates” ablegen, aber das hat bei mir nicht funktioniert.
Als Feed-Format für die Beiträge biete ich in der Seitenleiste nur noch Atom 1.0 an, den Kommentar-Feed gibt es leider nicht als Atom. Wer die Unterschiede wissen möchte, kann sie hier nachlesen.
Das AddThis-Plugin habe ich wieder deaktiviert. Verlangsamt meines Erachtens die Seite zu sehr und will (was ich als störender empfinde) immer von fremden Seiten Sachen nachladen.
Falls jemand noch Wünsche oder Verbesserungsvorschläge hat, immer her damit.
Ich habe mich jetzt doch dazu durchgerungen, den/das Weblog doch wieder in Betrieb zu nehmen. Es gibt einfach immer wieder Dinge, die ich irgendwo für die Nachwelt mich niederschreiben möchte. Allerdings mit ein paar Änderungen…
Zum Ersten übernehme ich die alten Beiträge nicht. Das liegt einerseits daran, dass ich über die Jahre viel ausprobiert habe (z. B. Gallery2) und deshalb viele Links/Bilder nicht mehr angezeigt werden. Andererseits ist es einfach zu unsicher, ob in älteren Beiträgen (waren ja in 3 Jahren doch einige) nicht irgendwelche Sachen drin sind, die (unbewusst) nicht so astrein sind. Da man das nachträglich so gut wie kaum kontrollieren/korrigieren kann und einer möglichen Abmahnung vorzubeugen, ist das weg. Wer einen alten Beitrag vermisst/braucht, soll sich bitte melden, dann kann ich ihn vielleicht in die neue Software übernehmen.
Womit wir schon beim Zweiten wären: Ich bin jetzt von Wordpress weg und gebe Serendipity eine Chance, wie z. B. der Bestatterweblog und auch der Blog von Dee. Gerüchten zufolge soll dieses ja stabiler und weniger anfällig für Fehler/Bugs sein. Speziell die vielen nötigen Sicherheitsupdates von Wordpress haben mich die letzten Monate doch sehr genervt.
So, wer will darf sich jetzt über meine Inkonsequenz lustig machen…und auch gleich die Kommentarfunktion testen
ps: Nein, ich habe nie bewusst irgendwelche Urheberrechte verletzt. Aber man sieht am Beispiel von Caschy wie schnell man da hineingeraten kann, ohne sich einer Schuld bewusst zu sein.
