Vor ein paar Tagen war Dunja Hayali für das ZDF Morgenmagazin auf der AfD-Demo in Erfurt unterwegs um Meinungen einzufangen. Wie immer fühlten sich wohl die Menschen falsch dargestellt und warfen der Redaktion vor, ungünstig geschnitten zu haben.
der vorwurf der zensur, fälschung, selektion und lügenpresse war nach dem beitrag aus erfurt über die afd-demo zu erwarten. auch deshalb stellen wir nun alle interviews in voller länge, also ungekürzt ins netz.

Ich habe mir die halbe Stunde angetan. Furchtbar, was die Leute da ins Mikrofon brabbeln.
Im Nachgang zu diesem Video erschien heute ein lesenswerter Kommentar bei DWDLDunja Hayali: Ein Glücksfall fürs deutsche Fernsehen. Schaut euch am besten auch erstmal das Video an und lest danach den Kommentar.
Schöne Vergleichsgrafik vom ARD Morgenmagazin, welches sie per Twitter verteilten. Es zeigt sehr schön, wo in letzter Zeit wieviele Menschen für und gegen PEGIDA demonstriert haben.
Leider geht aus der Grafik nicht hervor, dass am Wochenende knapp 35.000 Menschen GEGEN Pegida in Dresden auf einer Kundgebung waren. Damit ergäbe sich ein etwas anderes Bild.

Das Jahr neigt sich so langsam dem Ende zu und da ich nicht wusste was ich bloggen soll, meinte Robert bei Twitter, dass ich ja einen Rückblick machen könnte. Gesagt, getan und mal ins Archiv geschaut, was es so an erwähnenswertem gab…
An meinem Vorsatz Zahlen richtig schreiben zu wollen, arbeite ich weiterhin und klappt auch in den meisten Fällen ganz gut.
Februar
Ohne es zu ahnen, schrieb ich diesen Monat den mit Abstand relevantesten Artikel meines Blogs, der massiven Zulauf aus den Suchmaschinen erhielt (wenn man das für einen Weblog meiner Größe sagen kann): automatisches Backup auf USB-Festplatte
Der Artikel brachte mir über 7.700 meiner 51.000 Page Views in diesem Jahr. Beeindruckend…und macht mich ein bisschen stolz.

Ich war zum ersten mal in der Volkssternwarte Erfurt und hatte mich ein wenig an der Mondfotografie versucht. Zu einem neuen Termin habe ich es bisher leider nicht geschafft, obwohl ich es gerne nochmal versuchen würde.
Außerdem war ich wie jedes Jahr bei den Chemnitzer Linux-Tagen, welche mich dieses Jahr allerdings nicht mehr ganz so sehr vom Hocker reißen konnten wie in den Jahren zuvor.

Im Weblog ein sehr ereignisloser Monat, nur drei Artikel von denen einer ein Urlaubsbericht vom Thüringer Wald war.
Privat hatte sich wesentlich mehr ereignet, da ich meine alte Anstellung gekündigt hatte, um im Folgemonat eine neue Stelle anzunehmen. Nach knapp einem halben Jahr im neuen Job, kann ich im Moment sagen, dass ich den Wechsel nicht bereut habe.
Mai
Aufgrund des Job-Wechsels zum 16.5. und einigem an Resturlaub war ich erst mit ehemaligen Kollegen und Bekannten in Südtirol, ein paar Tage danach mit Anja für eine Wochen in New York City (siehe Reiseberichte). Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts.
Mit dem Job-Wechsel habe ich auch die Weblog-Software Serendipity von Version 1.7 auf 2.0-beta gewechselt, welche seither mit regelmäßigen Updates brav ihren Dienst tut und von der vor ein paar Tagen RC-2 veröffentlicht wurde.

Wir waren nach einigen Jahren mal wieder auf dem Brandenburgfest. Wer mit Mittelalter nichts anfangen kann, soll sich stattdessen dieses Video ansehen.
Datenschutzpolitisch tat sich nicht viel, es wurde nur versucht, den NSA-Skandal möglichst schnell vergessen zu machen, indem der Untersuchungsausschuss nichts untersuchte.

In diesem Monat konnten wir uns das neue Elefantenhaus des Zooparks ansehen. Beeindruckend, überteuert, ungenutzt. Vermutlich auf längere Sicht gesehen eine finanzielle Katastrophe, da auch das Zuchtprogramm auf absehbare Zeit nicht in Gang kommt.

Über Malte wurde mir eine Seite mit lizenzfreien Fotos bekannt. Seither ist unsplash eine gern genutzte Anlaufstelle, wenn ich qualitativ gute Symbolbilder suche.
Außerdem hab ich es nach vielen Jahren doch endlich mal geschafft, eine Übersicht aller meiner Reiseberichte zu basteln. Hauptsächlich, weil ich selbst nie gefunden habe, was ich suchte.

Nach gefühlt 10 Jahren habe ich mal wieder bei einem Blog-Stöckchen mitgemacht. Hach, die guten alte Zeit…
Ende des Monats waren wir noch auf der EGA, da die Kürbiszeit angebrochen war.
Oktober
Krautreporter ging an den Start. Mein erster Eindruck war sehr enttäuschend. Inzwischen hat sich zum Glück vieles zum Guten gebessert. Ob ich mein Abo allerdings verlängern werde, muss die Zeit zeigen. Die Artikel sind mir im Moment oft viel zu lang und ich lese daher meist nur die morgendliche Zusammenfassung. Themenauswahl ist nochmal was anderes, aber da sind die Interessen eben verschieden bei den Leuten.
Eigentlich gab es nur ein wichtiges Video von Hagen Rether, welches man sich aber ruhig auch jetzt nochmal ansehen sollte.
In Dresden bildet sich langsam die Bewegung PEGIDA, deren Teilnehmerzahlen an den montäglichen Spaziergängen stetig (und zu meinem absoluten Unverständnis) stieg.
Dezember
Starbucks hat nun geöffnet, der Laden ist aber eher enttäuschend. Es gibt keine Städte-Tassen und die offizielle Starbucks-Bezahl-Karte kann nicht verwendet werden, da die Filiale als Lizenz-Unternehmen betrieben wird und die Karte nicht akzeptiert.
Eigentlich nicht weiter schlimm, betrachtet man sich, wie die PEGIDA in Dresden weiter Zulauf erhält. Das Magazin “Panorama” ist einen mutigen und richtigen Schritt gegangen und hat alle Interviews der Teilnehmer ungeschnitten online gestellt. Sollte jeder gesehen haben! Im Nachhinein hat sich leider herausgestellt, dass einer der Gesprächspartner Mitarbeiter von RTL war und undercover in der Menge dabei. Peinlich und ein gefundenes Fressen für die Pegida-Anhänger (Stichwort: Lügenpresse).
Ausblick
Rückblickend muss ich sagen, dass viel zu wenige Themen im Weblog behandelt wurden, weil ich zu faul war, einen Artikel zu verfassen. Oft habe ich interessante Links einfach nur bei Facebook oder Twitter geteilt, weil das einfacher und bequemer funktioniert. Ich muss mir da dringend eine Lösung überlegen, um derartige Artikel/Links einfacher im Blog zu verwursten. Wer da eine für sich passende Lösung hat, gerne in die Kommentare damit.
Es ist wirklich erschreckend und gleichzeitig bedrückend, welche Menschen mit welcher Meinung bei den Spaziergängen in Dresden mitlaufen. Ich habe mir Teil 1 komplett angesehen und mir ist an einigen Stellen wirklich ein Klos im Hals stecken geblieben, als ich mir anhören durfte, was der mitlaufende Durchschnittsbürger für Ansichten hat und vertritt.
