Seit MacOS High Sierra hatte ich das Problem, dass mein Dokumentscanner (ein Fujitsu ScanSnap 1300) beim Scannen mehrerer (Doppel-)Seiten die Seitenausrichtung und auch die Seitenreihenfolge willkürlich durcheinander geworfen hat. Ein System habe ich leider nicht entdecken können und auch auf der offiziellen Support-Seite gibt es keine Hinweise oder Updates diesbezüglich. Auch Google half mir immer nicht so recht weiter.
Heute habe ich dann mal länger geforscht und in den Tiefen der Support-Seiten beim Hersteller doch noch eine englischsprachige Version der FAQ gefunden, in der Probleme mit High Sierra beschrieben werden.

Das Update L70 gibt es seit 5. Dezember für ScanSnap Manager V6.3 und macht die Software endlich High Sierra kompatibel.
Allerdings gilt die Anleitung für einen anderen Scanner als meinen, genau genommen das Nachfolgemodell 1300i. Mein Modell wird offiziell nur vom ScanSnap Manager V3.2 unterstützt. Ich habe die dort verlinkte Anleitung trotzdem mal versucht und siehe da, der neue ScanSnap Manager (der für mein Modell offiziell nicht angeboten wird) funktioniert trotzdem und nun sind auch die Seiten wieder in korrekter Ausrichtung und Sortierung.
Warum Fujitsu es nicht schafft, entsprechende Hinweise auch in andere/ältere Modell-Support-Seiten einzubauen und den aktuellen Manager auch für andere Geräte anzubieten, wird mir ein Rätsel bleiben. Nerven hat es mich in den letzten Wochen genug gekostet.
