Ein weiterer Nachteil (neben den Problemen mit den Netzwerkfreigaben) unseres OKI MC-560 war ja auch das Twain-Problem. Ohne die Twain-Treiber kann man nämlich die lokalen Programme zum Scannen nicht nutzen, wie etwa den 2-Seiten-Scan von Adobe Acrobat.
Aber auch dafür habe ich heute noch eine Lösung gefunden: PDF Split And Merge (kurz: PDFSAM, dank Java auf fast allen Betriebssystemen lauffähig)
Ich kannte das Programm schon lange, aber ich habe es mir eine Weile nicht mehr angesehen, daher wusste ich nicht, dass in der Zwischenzeit auch eine Funktion „Alternate Mix” dazu gekommen ist.
So, seit gestern haben wir also den MC 560 von OKI im Büro stehen. Warum? Schneller und leiser als unser bisheriger HP Color LaserJet 2840 scheint er zu sein. Was die Druckkosten angeht, muss man abwarten. Außerdem haben wir in dessen Neuanschaffung auch unser FAX rausgeworfen und im anderen Büro jetzt nur noch 1 Gerät stehen, welches Lärm macht
Allerdings gab/gibt es natürlich immer so ein paar Sachen, die nicht wirklich gut gelöst sind. Der Drucker kann z. B. zwar Dokumente einscannen und diese auf ein im Netzwerk freigegebenes Verzeichnis (per CIFS) legen, allerdings klappt das aus unbekannten Gründen auf unserem Windows-2003-Server nicht. Der Drucker brachte immer nur eine Fehlermeldung, dass man sich an den Netzwerkadministrator wenden solle. Das Speichern auf die normalen WindowsXP-Rechner ging seltsamerweise ohne Probleme. Gerüchten in diversen Foren zufolge muss man wohl etwas an den Gruppenrichtlinien ändern. Aber das hat nicht geklappt und ich hatte keine Lust mehr auf Experimente.
Ich hatte ja schon ein paar mal über Tiny-Tiny-RSS geschrieben und es ist immer noch mein Lieblings-Feed-Reader. Daran wird sich wohl auch nichts ändern, denn Andrew hat heute eine neue Version herausgebracht. :wub:

Gestern war Auto freimachen dran, dann die letzten Tage hat es irgendwie viel geschneit und zugefrohren war auch noch alles :pinch:
Außerdem hab ich fleißig an meinem Weihnachtsgeschenk gebastelt…
…der Unterbau ist damit fertig. Jetzt fehlt nur noch der Kran-Aufbau mit Motor :biggrin:
