Vor zwei Wochen waren Anja und ich für ein langes Wochenende in München. Das wollten wir eh schon lange mal machen und da der letzte Urlaub schon eine Weile her war, packten wir unsere sieben Sachen und fuhren von Samstag bis Dienstag in den Süden. Natürlich waren wir viel zum Geocaching unterwegs, so waren die Fußwege teilweise sehr unorientiert aber am Ende kamen wir doch immer an unserem Ziel an.
Übernachtet hatten wir im Buddy Hotel, welches direkt am Stachus liegt. Ich zitiere einfach mal meine Hotelbewertung, die ich bei booking.com hinterlassen hatte…
Negativ: Zimmer wirkte leider an einigen Stellen noch nicht fertig, im Schrank fehlte eine Kleiderstange, im WC war eine Fläche noch nicht fertig verkleidet/gefliest. Lautstärke der Klimaanlage war teilweise leider recht laut und gluckerte komisch.
Positiv: War alles sauber und ganz nett eingerichtet. WLAN war sehr schnell und zum Glück ohne irgendwelche nervigen Vorschaltseiten. Kostenloses Frühstück in der Lobby war klein, aber als Start-Happen ok. Wer mehr will, kann im Partnerhotel für 10 € pP frühstücken gehen. Sehr angenehm war die elektrisch verstellbare Matratze. Lage ist sehr gut, man ist zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten am Marienplatz.
Im Wesentlichen waren wir am Sonntag im Olympiapark, wo wir uns das Stadion ansahen und auf den Olympiaturm hoch fuhren und am Montag, weil für den ganzen Tag Regen angesagt war, im Deutschen Museum.
Im Deutschen Museum war an sich sehr interessant und ich habe auch viele Fotos gemacht, aber am Ende war es auch viel zu viel für einen Tag und irgendwann schwirrt einem der Kopf und man schaltet ab. Wirklich sinnvoll lässt sich das Museum mit seinen Außenbereichen (zu denen wir gar nicht gefahren waren) nur über mehrere Tage erkunden, indem man immer mal ein paar Stunden rein geht und einen Teilbereich an schaut. Oder eben gezielt gleich am Anfang zu den Sachen die einen am meisten interessieren. Vielleicht beim nächsten München-Besuch dann.
Seit einigen Wochen nutze ich auf meinem iPhone Fiery (App Store), um mein Tiny Tiny RSS mit dem iPhone zu synchronisieren und mobil Feeds lesen zu können.
Bevor ihr jetzt aufhört zu lesen, Fiery unterstützt auch Feedly, Feedbin, Minimal Reader, Feed Wrangler, Fever, Feedja, InoReader, NewsBlur, AOL Reader und The Old Reader. Dürfte also für jeden was dabei sein.
Zu TTRSS hatte ich ja hier im Blog schon öfter geschrieben. Nachdem der TTReader leider vor einer Weile eingestellt wurde, weil der Programmierer keine Zeit (und Lust?) mehr dafür hatte, war ich wieder lange mit Reeder unterwegs, welches sich dank Fever-Emulation auch mit TTRSS synchronisieren lässt. Allerdings war diese Lösung (für mich) immer recht unbefriedigend.
Vor einigen Monaten bin ich dann, keine Ahnung wie, über o.g. Fiery gestolpert und habe ihn mal getestet. Das Programm bietet unzählige Einstellmöglichkeiten für das Layout, was ich gut finde (andere schreckt es vielleicht ab). Nun, seit damals habe ich Reeder immer seltener geöffnet und seit ein paar Wochen nutze ich es überhaupt nicht mehr. Fiery ist inzwischen mein einziger Feed-Leser am iPhone.
Heute erschien dann auch die Version 1.8, die diverse coole Neuerungen mitbringt, unter Anderem (je nach Dienst) auch das hinzufügen, sortieren und löschen von Feeds direkt in der App, ohne das man den Rechner bemühen muss. Einfach mal im Changelog blättern, was es sonst noch interessantes gibt.
Ich bin mit der App jedenfalls sehr zufrieden und kann sie in jedem Fall weiter empfehlen!
